I had the pleasure of spending a night at Knysna Manor House with a tour guest from Australia. We loved the grand olde house with its original yellowwood floors and fittings, I believe to be about 150 years old and still in fantastic condition. Good WIFI, a toasty room with satellite tv, homely breakfast with good coffee and a friendly welcome reception was part of the deal. The house is situated close to the centre of town, only five minutes walk from the waterfront and a stone throw from most of Knysna's restaurants. This was my first visit and I'll definitely bring future clients there.

The self catering apartment is very spacious and had a nice view from the main bedroom. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's in the center of town, so you can basically walk to most places, which helps to avoid sitting in traffic.

We enjoyed our stay at Manor House so much I'll want to return there many times in future. It was clean, the beds comfortable, and very friendly and hospitable staff. Lagoon views from the sundeck are spectacular!
